General Description

This Talisman 45 is a similar design to the Oyster 435 & Bowman 46 & is an Ocean going yacht with a proven pedigree designed by Holman & Pye. Despite her hull being built in 1989, the rest of the boat was not completed until 2007 when she was launched for the first time. She has excellent sea keeping & is very manageable in heavy weather & down below, has 6 good size berths & a light & bright saloon all complemented by a well equipped galley including freezer. With a 54 HP Perkins 4154 she has plenty of power to assist when needed & also comes with a 2.6Kva generator to run electrics & even has a Vetus Bow Thruster fitted. This Talisman 45 is in very good condition & is a credit to her current owner. She is currently lying Lorient, Nr Brittany in France & is available for viewings.

Brokers Comments

This Talisman 45 is a superb boat that has all the pedigree & similar design of the Oyster 435 & Bowman 46 having been designed by the renown Holman & Pye & built to Lloyds Register standards by Stalham Yacht Services on the East Coast of England. Despite the hull having been completed in 1989, she was not fitted out & subsequently launched until 2007 which means that she has a far more contemporary feel than her hull age would suggest. With 6 comfortable berths, two heads, galley & Nav Station, all complementing her bright spacious saloon, this boat oozes quality & accommodation akin to much more expensive yachts. This Talisman 45 also comes equipped with good electronics including radar / Chart Plotter with 2 screens, VHF, GPS, speed, depth, log & Autohelm as well as having a separate generator & even a bow thruster. She has an in-mast furling mainsail & furlex gear to both headsail & staysail & even has an electric winch for furling the headsail. Home comforts include a hot water system, galley with fridge & freezer & an electric flush toilet as well as a TV & CD Stereo with bluetooth capability.

Whilst the Talisman 45 may not be as well known as the Oyster 435, this is certainly not a boat that should be underestimated & the fact that she was not completed until 2007 means her next Owner will be getting all the build qualities of an older boat but with a much more contemporary feel & finish whilst being exceptionally good value. If you are wanting a yacht with excellent seakeeping & the ability to be a liveaboard, then this boat is a must for viewing. Currently lying in Port Laurient, near Brittany, France, viewings can be arranged through Aspire Boat Sales.
