Brokers Comments

This Hallberg Rassy 29 is a beautiful looking boat that has been well maintained by her current Owner& has had a significant sum spent on her in recent years ( at least £40K since 2011). Works have included complete new Decks, new Epoxy coating and replacement standing rigging as well as regular annual maintenance all of which are evidence of a knowledgeable owner. In addition, she comes with two chart plotters, AIS, autotiller, wind, speed & depth gauges & VHF with Cockpit Handset as well as base station. Her interior has a craftsmanlike solid finish in solid wood joinery and for a boat of her size, she offers comfortable a comfortable living area as well as the theoretical ability to sleep 7. She has a very small galley with Cool Box, oven & hob as well as an ingenious Pilot Berth that doubles up as a large Chart Table. Ondeck is where this boat really stands out. With her beautiful new Flexiteek decks that have been professionally laid, she looks almost as if she has just come out of the factory & being a Rassy, she is solidly built using well engineered fittings. She has a good sized deep cockpit with Tiller Steering that also has 2 generous lockers. Contained within & attached to her transom is a fabulous Wind Vane Self Steering System which is great for longer crossings or short handed sailing. In addition the main & Jib halyards & 2 reefing lines are led back to the cockpit & it has 2 Lewmar self tailing winches. This very solid, Swedish built yacht is certainly a very capable cruising boat.

With her excellent design & solid Swedish build quality, this Hallberg Rassy 29 offers everything you could need for fun sailing around coastal waters whilst still being very capable of cruising further afield and is easily manageable short handed. This is a very solid, well constructed boat that oozes the quality & craftsmanship that is expected of this Swedish Marque. She is currently lying Southampton & viewing is highly recommended.
